In applying for a new electrical service connection, there are several basic requirements to bring, the most important is an Approved Electrical Permit or Service Connection Permit with a Certificate of Final Electrical Inspection from the City Building Office.

These requests are NEW METER INSTALLATION, ADDITIONAL METER OR SEPARATE METER, CHANGE OF NAME, METER RE-CONNECTION, METER DISCONNECTION AND METER TRANSFER.

What are the Valid Identification cards for both registered customer and representative?

In transacting with us for various electrical service requests, it is a basic requirement for you to bring any valid identification cards.

How do I read my electric meter?

The electric meter installed in your home is a precision device which accurately measures your use of electric energy in terms of kilowatt-hours. Your meter is factory tested, CEPALCO tested, and retested and sealed by the Energy Regulatory Commission. Test instruments of high accuracy, which are tested and calibrated annually by the Energy Regulatory Commission, are used to test your meter to make sure that the registration is accurate.
