| The Cagayan Electric Power & Light Company, Inc. [CEPALCO] would like to inform its valued customers and the public in general that starting March 1, 2010, every application for electric service connection must be represented by a duly CEPALCO Accredited Electrician to install its metering facility. In view of this, all applicants for electric service connections are required to choose one Accredited Electrician from the list of Accredited Associations by CEPALCO. A Form of Undertaking between the Applicant and the Accredited Electrician must be presented to CEPALCO. Members of the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers (IIEE) of the Philippines need not undergo technical seminar and examination but must submit pertinent requirements to be accredited. The Accreditation of Electricians Program of CEPALCO is intended to provide all CEPALCO customers a quality and fast metering facility installation thereby hastening electric service connection.
