GCAMFI adds 12 new scholars

The Gonzalo and Carmen Abaya Memorial Foundation Inc. (GCAMFI) has added twelve [12] new scholars, six [6] in elementary and six [6] in high school, under its scholarship program starting school year 2011 – 2012. GCAMFI’s scholarship covers tuition, books, and other school fees plus a monthly allowance for the scholars. The twelve (12) new scholars were carefully selected as endorsed by their respective schools. The scholarship grant carries no obligation for each beneficiary except for passing grades on all subjects as precondition for the continuous educational assistance. The signing of the scholarship agreement took place last July 29, 2011 and was attended by no less than GCAMFI Chairman Jose Ma. M. Abaya [in blue polo shirt above]. With Mr. Abaya are other CEPALCO officials: Senior Vice President Cesar Cabualan and Senior Manager Rainier Ranopa.
