CEPALCO Volunteer Fire Brigade

The Cepalco Volunteer Fire Brigade (CVFB) consists of a pool of thirty-seven (37) able-bodied Cepalco personnel, volunteer company security guards and utility men tasked to assist the BFP-10 firefighters in the suppression of destructive fires and/or response voluntarily to other emergencies based on the BFP Running Card System. The CVFB may also respond in the first alarm to purposely to cut-off the electrical power at the fire scene and help extinguish the fire and shall undergo periodic training in coordination with the BFP especially those new members of the group, among others.

The CVFB has three (3) fire trucks: One (1) unit Mitsubishi Fuso Fighter 4X4 Double Cab GM Firetruck (RED) with a capacity of 5,000 liters; one (1) unit Mitsubishi Fuso Double Cab Morita Water/Foam Firetruck (YELLOW) with a capacity of 2,000 liters and equipped with a fire turret; and one (1) unit Hino Stainless Body Tanker Truck with a capacity of 10,000 liters.
